The Maranta Lemon Lime is a vibrant and visually appealing houseplant known for its striking foliage. It belongs to the prayer plant family and is named for its leaves' ability to fold up at night, resembling praying hands. The leaves are a bright, lime green color with darker green veins and a lighter green or yellow central vein. 

Size: This plant comes in a 4" pot. The Maranta Lemon Lime typically grows to about 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) in height and can spread out to about the same width.

Care Requirements:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Direct sunlight can cause the leaves to fade or develop brown spots, so it's best to place it in a spot with filtered light.

Watering: The plant likes to be kept consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. Using distilled or filtered water is recommended, as the plant is sensitive to chemicals in tap water.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments. Regular misting, using a humidity tray, or placing a humidifier nearby can help maintain the necessary moisture levels.

Soil: A well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter is ideal. A mix designed for tropical plants or a blend of potting soil with added perlite and peat moss works well.
